My Growing Summer Garden

This year I wanted to make a garden of my own. I'm only growing a few things. I'm growing Snap Peas by seed, Cucumbers by seed, and Red peppers( not by seed).
What inspired me to want to grow a garden was well, I really like being outside in my backyard enjoying the fresh air. And what better thing to do then take care of the plants in my backyard. That's what I think anyway. It feels so great to harvest a crop knowing that you helped it grow, and I'm telling you they taste and look much better than the ones you get at the grocery store. I also think its cheaper to grow your own crops because well, you get them right from your backyard and you know, that no one has sprayed any chemical sprays or injected weird stuff into your food. It's like its organic! Yes, it takes longer but trust me its totally worth it! I encourage you all to have at least 1 crop in your back yard that you can take care of and be proud to harvest!

Here I have posted pictures from start to finish of my Growing Summer Garden:

  1. Noah, you wrote with such voice! I can hear your love of gardening coming through your post. The best part of summer for me is tending to my garden. I search out deals at the local garden stores and plant perennials. I jut bought a lovely Japanese Ivory Silk Lilac tree for my yard. Happy gardening!
